Dubai has introduced the ‘Tawazun Pod’, a three-minute immersive experience designed to help residents reduce stress and restore emotional balance, as part of the Dubai Health Authority’s Mental Wealth Initiative.
Debuting at the World Health Expo 2026, the pod combines sensory technology, colour psychology, guided breathing, and therapeutic soundscapes to support mental wellbeing. Users can select from three personalised experiences—Boost Me, Calm Me, or Ground Me—based on their current emotional needs.
Dr. Maryam Al Mheiri of DHA highlighted that the pod addresses everyday stress in work and public environments, offering a quick, effective way to reset emotionally. Sessions feature AI-guided audio and visual interfaces with gentle affirmations, soft lighting, and calming scents.
Following successful pilot testing, the pods are set for wider deployment across malls, public spaces, government offices, and workplaces later this year. The initiative reflects Dubai’s focus on enhancing quality of life and promoting accessible mental wellbeing tools for the community.
