President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is set to travel to the United States on 22 September to participate in the United Nations General Assembly.
During his visit, he will hold bilateral meetings with several heads of state and government officials, as well as meet UN Secretary-General António Guterres.
After concluding his engagements in the United States, President Dissanayake will proceed to Japan on 26 September for a state visit at the invitation of the Japanese government.
In Japan, he is scheduled to attend the World Expo International Trade Fair on 27 September and engage in high-level discussions with senior Japanese officials
