Women’s 4x400m relay
The U.S. relay team of Shamier Little, Alexis Holmes, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Gabby Thomas won its eighth consecutive gold medal in the women’s 4x400m relay extending its impressive and long-standing win streak.
Men’s 4x400m relay
The United States clinched its third straight gold medal in the men’s 4x400m relay in Saturday’s final with a time of 2:54.43.

“I’m the fourth-fastest woman ever in this event, so it wasn’t about knowing if I could or couldn’t (win),” Russell said. “It was just about remaining focused on what I could do — and honestly, just get over those hurdles and get to the line first.”
