Paedophile teacher Kandice Barber banned from classroom for life

[ad_1]

A paedophile teacher, who had sex with a 15-year-old pupil in a field, continued to proclaim her innocence as she was banned from the classroom for life.

British teacher Kandice Barber, 37, bedded the schoolboy after kissing him on the neck and whispering: “What do you want to do now?” reported The Sun.

The married mum-of-three, who worked at a school in the town of Princes Risborough, north of London, also sent him X-rated photos on Snapchat.

Barber has now been struck off the teaching register indefinitely following a misconduct hearing.

The UK’s Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA) heard how the tutor still denies any wrongdoing.

In a badly-spelled note, Barber wrote: “Despite the convictions I have always proclaimed my innocentse. [sic]”.

But the panel found “calculated” Barber had communicated with the boy in “an inappropriate and sexually suggestive manner”.

TRA chair Susanne Staab said: “Her grooming and sexual exploitation of him was followed by threats and manipulation, demonstrating a callous and selfish disregard for her pupil’s wellbeing”.

“The public would rightly be appalled by her behaviour.”

Barber was jailed for six years and two months in 2021 after being found guilty of engaging a child in sexual activity.

She began messaging the student in 2018 after taking his phone number at a school sports day prize-giving event.

Their texts soon turned “sexual” and Barber later picked him up in her 4×4 car before driving to a field.

Barber then had sex with the boy in the secluded area.

The teacher continued to send the boy sordid texts – even while teaching him in class.

One message read: “You cannot make me blush when I am teaching now, poker face”.

She also “threatened” to bring the boy down if he reported her and falsely accused him of rape.

The mum-of-three was branded “beyond despicable” by the judge who sent her to jail.

Her husband Daniel Barber, who had stood by her during the trial, has since moved on and is expecting a baby with another woman.
