Police have issued an urgent call for help after a nine-year-old boy went missing in southwest Sydney.
The child – Paul Sanders – was last seen at Gibson Parade, Padstow about 8.50am on Friday wearing his a blue school polo shirt and grey school shorts.
He was reported missing after he failed to arrive at school, with officers from the Bankstown Police Area Command notified of his absence.
Police hold concerns for the child due to his age.
People have been asked to be on the look out for the boy, who has been described as being of caucasian appearance and having a thing build with dark blonde hair. He also wears glasses.
Anyone with information as to the child’s whereabouts is urged to contact Bankstown Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
