The original The Bachelor mansion has hit the market with a whopping price guide of $19.5m-$21.4m.

It was in this Bayview home that the very first Australian season of The Bachelor was filmed, kicking off what has now become one of the most well known reality TV franchises in the country.

It was also where the first Aussie bachelor, Tim Robards met and fell in love with fellow contestant Anna Heinreich.

The two are now married with a three-year old child, and expecting a second this year, and live in a ritzy Dover Heights home in Sydney’s East.

The six bedroom grand residence features stunning water views over Pittwater, a tennis court, pool and spa over the extensive 4,091 square metre grounds.

Decorated with multiple chandeliers throughout the living and dining spaces, the tall windows and balconies give the mansion a French inspired design, almost like you could be in provincial France.

In just over three years, the owners are now hoping to get double that for the mansion.

Surrounded by bushland, the property is a 25 minute drive to Manly beach.

The Bayview property is being sold by Phillip Sheh and Monika Tu from Black Diamondz Property and is available to view via appointment only.
