OnePlus 15 Launches in India Today with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Chip and OxygenOS 16

OnePlus is set to unveil its latest flagship, the OnePlus 15, in India today. Powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, the device introduces next-gen performance, an upgraded camera system, and record-breaking charging speeds.

The OnePlus 15 makes its grand debut in India today, bringing with it Qualcomm’s most powerful processor — the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 — making it the first smartphone in India to feature this flagship chipset.

The phone showcases a 165Hz LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, delivering ultra-smooth visuals and crisp clarity. OnePlus has confirmed multiple water and dust resistance certifications (IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K), ensuring robust durability.

In a major upgrade, the OnePlus 15 houses a 7,300mAh battery supporting 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, offering an exceptional combination of speed and endurance.

Photography enthusiasts will find plenty to admire in its 50MP triple-camera setup, enhanced with OnePlus’s new DetailMax Engine, marking a new chapter in imaging innovation after the company’s partnership with Hasselblad ended.

The device will also debut OxygenOS 16, which introduces Google Gemini AI connectivity via Plus Mind, a system allowing users to interact with their stored memories through the integrated AI assistant. The traditional Alert Slider is replaced by a new Plus Key, offering customizable shortcuts and direct access to AI features.

The launch event will commence at 7:00 PM (IST) and will be streamed live on OnePlus’s official website and social media platforms.

Sales will begin at 8:00 PM across major platforms such as Amazon, Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, Bajaj Electronics, the OnePlus Store app, and OnePlus Experience Stores.

As part of its early launch offers, customers purchasing the device between November 13–16 will receive a free pair of OnePlus Nord Buds, while existing OnePlus users can avail up to ₹4,000 trade-in credit.

The OnePlus 15, available in the sleek Absolute Black variant, signals a powerful leap in performance, design, and smart AI integration — setting new benchmarks for premium smartphones in 2025.
