NYE 2026 fireworks: How will Dubai handle massive crowds during events?

Dubai is gearing up for New Year 2026 with massive security and celebrations. Nearly 10,000 officers and 1,625 patrol vehicles, along with 53 marine boats, 36 bicycles, and 34 mounted units, have been deployed to ensure safety during 48 fireworks displays across 40 locations, including Burj Khalifa, Dubai Frame, and Global Village.

Civil Defence will deploy 1,754 firefighters, while RTA manages road closures and boosts transport with 14,000 taxis, 1,300 buses, and continuous metro services.

Health services include 1,900 medical staff, six hospitals, and a field hospital. Fourteen parks and beaches remain open for family-friendly celebrations.
