Chatham-Kent is once again ready to honour its most inspiring artistic legends. For the fourth consecutive year, the CK Arts and Culture Wall of Fame is seeking nominations to celebrate individuals who have made a lasting impact in the world of arts and culture—locally and globally.
“There’s real pride in discovering the internationally recognized talent that has roots in Chatham-Kent,” said Laurie Langford, Chair of the Chatham-Kent Arts and Culture Network. “From literary giant Robertson Davies, to country star Michelle Wright, to folk music icon Sylvia Tyson—these names only scratch the surface.”
Currently, 35 distinguished artists and cultural contributors have been inducted into the Wall of Fame, recognized for shaping CK’s rich artistic heritage. This year, eight new inductees will join them—including two legacy honourees—across six creative categories: dance, literary arts, music, theatre arts, visual arts, and cultural builders.
“This is your chance to help spotlight individuals or groups whose creativity and commitment enrich our community,” said James Snyder, Chair of the CK Heroes Selection Committee. Nominations from the public are strongly encouraged.
The deadline to nominate is June 15, 2025. To submit a nomination, visit the official CK Arts and Culture Network website.
