Miss World 2024: Krystyna Pyszkova Of Czech Republic Wins The 71st Beauty Pageant 

The 71st Miss World pageant held in Mumbai on Saturday saw Krystyna Pyszkova from the Czech Republic emerge victorious, with Yasmina Zaytoun of Lebanon securing the first runner-up position. Competing against representatives from over 110 nations, Krystyna was crowned Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska at a glamorous event attended by prominent figures from the entertainment industry, including Munawar Faruqui, winner of Bigg Boss 17, actress Rubina Dilaik, and Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Mukesh Ambani.

Apart from pursuing a law degree at Charles University in Prague, Miss World 2024 is actively involved in volunteering for the Sonta Foundation in Tanzania, where she teaches English to underprivileged children. Krystyna, who attended an art academy for nine years, holds a special interest in music. The official Miss World website highlights her as a model from the Czech Republic, currently working towards separate degrees in business administration and law.

Krystyna Pyszkova’s proudest moment, as mentioned in her profile, was the establishment of an English school for underprivileged children in Tanzania, where she also volunteers. In addition to her philanthropic efforts, she enjoys playing the transverse flute and the violin, showcasing her passion for music and art.

The Jio World Convention Centre in BKC served as the venue for the 71st Miss World competition, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar and former Miss World Megan Young. Meanwhile, India marked its return to hosting the Miss World 2024 competition after a 28-year hiatus, with the Jio World Centre in Mumbai as the chosen venue. The judging panel comprised notable personalities such as Kriti Sanon, Manushi Chhillar, Pooja Hegde, Harbhajan Singh, Rajat Sharma, Amruta Fadnavis, Vineet Jain, Julia Morley CBE, and Jamil Saidi.

Shaan, Tony, and Neha Kakkar delivered electrifying performances throughout the occasion. Prior to the event, the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) organized ‘The Opening Ceremony’ and ‘India Welcomes the World Gala’ in New Delhi on February 20, kicking off the month-long Miss World competition. The competition featured various challenging contests, including talent exhibitions, athletic challenges, and philanthropic endeavors, highlighting the participants’ roles as change-agents.
