The Mental Health Foundation Australia (MHFA), the nation’s oldest mental health organisation, proudly announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Vasan Srinivasan, has been elected as the Regional Vice President for Oceania with the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH).
This prestigious appointment celebrates Mr. Srinivasan’s long-standing commitment to advancing mental health awareness, education, and advocacy across Australia and beyond. Under his visionary leadership, MHFA has expanded its outreach and initiatives to include Australia’s richly diverse multicultural communities, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility in mental health conversations and support services.
As Regional Vice President, Mr. Srinivasan will collaborate with global mental health leaders to strengthen initiatives across Oceania. His work will focus on community engagement, education, and policy reform to promote holistic wellbeing throughout the region.
