A man is fighting for life after allegedly being stabbed in Melbourne’s CBD overnight.
Victoria Police have been told that the man became involved in a verbal altercation with a second man on Elizabeth St in the city’s CBD about 9:20pm on Wednesday.
The man, in his 30s, was allegedly stabbed after the altercation took a violent turn.
He was taken to hospital via ambulance.
A 21-year-old man is now assisting officers with their inquiries.
