Maninder Kaur: A Pillar of Strength in Mortgage Broking and Community Building
Maninder Kaur stands out as a distinguished mortgage broker and the owner of Evergrow Finance in Campbellfield, Victoria. She achieved this growth while maintaining an impressive 100% lodgement to approval ratio, providing her clients with significant confidence in their financial journeys.

Her transition to business in Australia has been remarkable, building on her successful career in India. Maninder holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration from Punjabi University. After graduating in 2005, she joined Yes Bank Chandigarh as one of the institution’s youngest Relationship Managers, managing a portfolio of business clients. A Personal Journey: From Barnala to Melbourne
Growing up in Barnala, Punjab, Maninder observed that borrowing money to buy a house was uncommon, with homes often passed down through generations. Now, as a married mother of two in Melbourne, she finds it ironic yet fulfilling that she owns a business specializing in that once foreign concept. As a finance broker, Maninder helps clients make life-changing moves, whether it’s purchasing a dream family home, an investment property, or financing business goals.
After moving to Australia, Maninder juggled multiple jobs for the first five years, working day and night to support her family’s financial goals. Her dedication paid off, allowing her and her husband to buy a block of land in Craigieburn during their first year of married life. They now own an impressive property portfolio, with plans for a significant residential project underway.
Maninder’s commitment to excellence extends to her professional affiliations as a member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority and the Finance Brokers Association of Australia. Her goal is to be a trusted mortgage broker for life, using technology to provide a seamless experience for her clients.
Commitment to Single Women
Maninder is particularly passionate about helping single mothers on their property journeys. She views property ownership as a stepping-stone to wealth creation and promises to explore every possible solution for single mothers, even if they aren’t initially in a position to be approved for a loan.
Giving Back to the Community
Giving back to the community that has supported her journey is important to Maninder. She was a major sponsor and organizer of the Panash talent competition and actively sponsors local events, reinforcing her commitment to community engagement. Maninder supports many local charity events and has sponsored the local hockey team, showing her dedication to fostering community spirit.
A Strong Support System
Maninder acknowledges the strong support from her family, especially her husband, who encouraged their move to Australia. Her sons, Fateh Singh and Gurnawab Singh, and her liberal and supportive father have been significant sources of strength. Maninder’s mother instilled a strong work ethic in her, which she upholds to this day, often going above and beyond for her clients.
Inspiring Future Generations
In the predominantly male mortgage broking industry in Australia, Maninder aims to be an example for other women, especially within Melbourne’s Indian community. She believes that with drive and determination, women can succeed in mortgage broking and beyond.
