La Perle by Dragone: A Mesmerising Aqua-Theatre Experience in Dubai

La Perle by Dragone, located at Al Habtoor City, offers a truly unforgettable theatrical experience and stands as the region’s first permanent aqua-theatre show. With ticket prices ranging from AED 220 to AED 710, the production invites audiences to dive into a world where art, water, and adrenaline collide.

Created by legendary artistic director Franco Dragone, La Perle is a breathtaking fusion of aerial acrobatics, daring dives, high-speed motorcycle stunts, and immersive choreography, performed by world-class artists. The purpose-built theatre is a spectacle in itself, featuring a stage that floods with waterfalls and rain before draining away within seconds, creating a seamless blend of water and performance.

The story pays tribute to the UAE’s pearl diving heritage, reimagined through a modern, multi-sensory lens. Dragone, renowned for iconic productions such as The House of Dancing Water in Macau and Le Rêve in Las Vegas, brings his signature style to Dubai with this visually striking and emotionally charged show.

Audiences are introduced to a cast of compelling characters, including The King, a greedy pearl collector; Pearl, a girl from the real world; Antar, a loyal gladiator in love with Pearl; The Prince, whose trusted exterior hides a dark ambition; the majestic Lion; and mysterious Cyborgs from the future.

Performances of La Perle run from Wednesday to Sunday, with shows at 6:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., from 25 July to 21 September. This extraordinary production promises a one-of-a-kind experience that continues to leave audiences on the edge of their seats.
