Hotels across the UAE are emphasizing guest safety, consistent room rates, and flexible booking policies as travel interruptions continue to affect passengers throughout the region.
Several hospitality groups have stated that they are closely tracking the evolving situation and coordinating with local authorities to ensure smooth operations while assisting travellers whose plans have been disrupted. According to Gulf News, hotel operators are prioritizing the wellbeing of both their guests and staff during this period.
Tim Cordon, Chief Operating Officer for the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia Pacific at Radisson Hotel Group, said, “Our main responsibility is to take care of people. That is the essence of our business, and it remains our focus today.”
He added, “We understand that flight cancellations, delays, and general uncertainty have impacted many travellers. Our response has been guided by empathy and flexibility, making sure guests feel supported at every stage of their journey.”
The hotel group noted that it is actively working with authorities across its markets and praised the swift governmental measures, including those by the UAE.
To maintain fairness during these disruptions, hotels are keeping room rates steady. Cordon explained, “We decided early on to lock existing rates to avoid unexpected price hikes. Our goal is to welcome all guests, provide reassurance, and uphold responsible pricing while managing occupancy carefully.”
Affected travellers are also being offered flexible options, including changes to bookings, cancellations, and refunds where applicable.
