Halle & Chloe Bailey Attend The Essence Awards In Cut-Out Ensembles

Halle and Chloe Bailey prove that they are both sisters in life and in fashion by coordinating looks for a recent red carpet appearance.

Posing for photographers on Thursday night ahead of the Essence 2024 Black Women in Hollywood Awards, the Bailey sisters held hands and showed off their different but similar styles. Halle was one of the honorees at the awards, which celebrate Black women in the entertainment industry who “are shifting the global Black narrative and shattering every glass ceiling as masters of their craft both in front of and behind the camera.”

The Little Mermaid star wore a pink two-tone Dolce & Gabbana gown that flowed down to her feet. The retro-styled dress cinched at her waist and had a cut-out loop detail toward the top that created a high neck. Halle kept her accessories simple with drop earrings and wore her long braids swooped up into a ponytail down her back.

Chloe was right by her sister’s side, supporting her for the night. She also opted for a cut-out look, wearing a white, high-neck shirt with a hole in the center and trailing down to the ground. Chloe paired the top with baggy white cargo pants and high heels.

Chloe posted photos from the special night — including a selfie with Zendaya — and celebrated her sister in the caption. “Got to honor my sister and give her her flowers yesterday,” she wrote. “i am so proud!!!! i love you halle. celebrated amongst some incredible women… what a great day.”

Halle also shared her own photos from the award ceremony, writing that she “felt like a princess” and thanked her sister for presenting the award to her.

“To be lifted up by so many women who have paved the way for me to be here today is an incredibly special feeling,” Halle wrote. “i am incredibly honored & thankful 💕 i will never forget today.”
