There’s no way around it — Jordan Chiles is that girl.
The American Olympic gymnast stepped out onto the mat on Friday night for the first day of the 2024 U.S. Gymnastics Championships and dazzled in a custom-made leotard that was inspired by Queen Bey herself.
The leotard was a mix of colors and textures that fitted together in perfect harmony, much like the outfit that inspired it. The swirls of pink, blue, red, silver, and green made Chiles a standout as she competed in Fort Worth, Texas. The leotard reportedly had 4,400 Swarovski crystals and twinkled under the bright lights. The black mesh sleeves balanced the bold colors and showed off the remaining crystals.
Chiles showed a reference photo of one of Beyoncé’s many Renaissance World Tour looks to gymnastics apparel manufacturer GK Elite and asked that it be replicated, according to The Athletic.
The outfit that inspired Chiles came from one of Beyoncé’s many couture pieces she wore during the Renaissance World Tour. This pattern in particular is a re-imagined archival Giardino print from Emilio Pucci that covered Bey from head to toe — literally. Beyoncé wore the catsuit on her birthday show in Los Angeles, California on September 4, 2023, when she brought out Diana Ross and Kendrick Lamar as special guests.

Jordan Chiles is aiming to join Team USA and compete in her second Olympic games this year in Paris. The competition just began Friday night and will help decide who will continue on. Chiles will hope to join Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast of all time, who is set to be a shoo-in this year after placing number one last night. Chiles ranked number seven for the night, but there is still time to move up as the competition continues through the weekend. But it’s safe to say her Renaissance-inspired look was one of the best of the night.
