For the eighth consecutive year, grey remained the most popular color for new cars in the UK throughout 2025, continuing its dominance in the market. However, the year also saw a remarkable resurgence of green, which experienced its highest sales volume in over 20 years.

This surge in green vehicle registrations, up 46.3%, is closely tied to the growing adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and a rising trend among buyers to showcase their environmental awareness through their car choices.
