Two changes for Hungary, either side of Willi Orban at centre-back. Attila Fiola was right wing-back against Scotland but moves to right centre-back, replacing Adam Lang, and Bendeguz Bolla comes in as wing-back.
On the left, it is a straight swap of Marton Dardai for Attila Szalai — he was booked against Switzerland but these are bold calls from Marco Rossi as Hungary’s centre-backs are key in defending against Germany’s No 10s.
They really struggled to defend against Switzerland’s varied build-up, with Aebischer’s fluid wing-back/No 8 role allowing him to overload the midfield at times, and Scotland showed exactly how to not defend in a 5-4-1 against Germany by being too passive.
Big test for Hungary here, who were excellent in the Nations League against Germany in 2022, winning and drawing in their two meetings.
