Starting from scratch, De Silva faced significant challenges, including nine months without a single sale. Through self-training and guidance from international mentors, he built a robust business framework. Today, his company has a team of 22 professionals operating from four offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sri Lanka, and Dubai. The services offered include sales, marketing, property management in Australia, rentals, and accounting.
De Silva’s vision is to help individuals create wealth through global property investments. The company aims to achieve a revenue goal of $100 million and assist 10,000 people in investing in properties by 2023. While maintaining a focus on property, the business plans to expand into other markets, including Vietnam and the US.
The company has received numerous awards from builders, recognizing their high sales achievements. Despite coming from a modest background, De Silva’s journey from earning a decent income to becoming a successful property entrepreneur is inspiring.
De Silva is also committed to giving back through the Grit Foundation, which aims to provide reliable, convenient, and safe property experiences. The foundation supports various philanthropic activities, including donating $200 from each transaction to build homes in Sri Lanka, supporting hospitals, and aiding underprivileged students.
