Aditi Govitrikar, the first Indian to win the Mrs World title, has been appointed as the National Director for Mrs World UAE 2025 and 2026 — marking a full-circle moment in her inspiring journey of grace, empowerment, and leadership.
Aditi Govitrikar, an Indian actress, physician, and former model who made history by becoming Mrs World in 2001, has been officially named the National Director for Mrs World UAE 2025 and 2026. The announcement was made through a heartfelt social media post on Monday, where Govitrikar expressed her gratitude and excitement for the new chapter.
Sharing a letter from the Mrs World organisers, Govitrikar wrote, “Life has a beautiful way of coming full circle.” The official letter confirmed her appointment, stating: “We are writing to award you the National Director License for UAE for 2025 and 2026. Our rules maintain that we will not accept any delegate with the above title at the Mrs World Pageant unless it is the winner of your competition.”
The letter further praised Govitrikar’s “international celebrity status and vast entertainment experience,” expressing confidence that she would elevate the Mrs UAE World name “to positive new heights.”
Reflecting on the milestone, Govitrikar said, “What began as a personal dream has evolved into a lifelong mission. This is where my journey of grace, purpose, and empowerment truly began.”
From her early days balancing her medical profession and modelling career to becoming the only Indian supermodel with both an MBBS and a psychology degree, Govitrikar has long embodied the blend of intellect and beauty. Her new role with Mrs World UAE adds another inspiring chapter to a career dedicated to empowering women and celebrating inner strength.
