Fire Contained at 67-Storey Dubai Marina Tower, No Injuries Reported

Dubai Civil Defence successfully extinguished a major fire in a 67-storey residential tower in the Dubai Marina within six hours. No injuries were reported, and all 3,820 residents were safely evacuated.

While the flames have been doused, cooling operations are ongoing — a standard procedure to prevent re-ignition. Emergency services, including ambulance and medical personnel, were dispatched to the site to offer both medical and psychological support to the displaced residents.

Authorities are now working with the building’s developer to arrange temporary housing and prioritize resident well-being during this recovery period.

Meanwhile, the Dubai Police at Al Barsha Police Station held a community meeting under the “Your Voice is Heard” initiative. Led by Colonel Yousef bin Qiba, the meeting aimed to foster direct dialogue with citizens and residents, promoting transparency, feedback, and responsive public service.

The initiative is part of Dubai’s broader effort to enhance community engagement and streamline public services through open communication channels.
