Dubai Airports Celebrates Excellence and Partnership at oneDXB Airport Excellence Awards 2025

Dubai Airports honoured its airline and commercial partners at the oneDXB Airport Excellence Awards 2025, celebrating innovation, collaboration, and outstanding contributions that continue to make DXB one of the world’s leading aviation hubs.

Dubai Airports, the operator of Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International (DWC), hosted the oneDXB Airport Excellence Awards 2025 to recognise and celebrate its partners’ achievements in aviation and customer experience.

The prestigious event, held at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, gathered over 200 distinguished guests, including senior leaders from Dubai Airports and key industry partners. The evening, themed “Celebrating Excellence,” reflected the shared values of collaboration and innovation that define Dubai’s vibrant aviation community.

Seventeen awards were presented across multiple categories, honouring airlines and commercial partners who have excelled in enhancing the passenger journey and supporting the airport’s world-class standards.

Among the airline winners, United was recognised for Excellence in Customer Service, flynas for Excellence in Operations, IndiGo for Excellence in Engagement, and Air China for Excellence in Partnership. Saudia received the Sustainability Initiatives award, Air France–KLM took home the Above & Beyond Excellence Award, while Qatar Airways and British Airways were awarded for On-Time Performance in the short-haul and medium-to-long-haul categories respectively.

In the Commercial Awards, JCDecaux earned the Long-Term Partnership Award, Lagardère Travel Retail was celebrated for Sustainability and Community Impact, and Travelex Exchange received recognition for Creating Inclusive Experiences. Other honourees included Hard Rock Cafe DXB for Guest Experience and Hospitality Initiatives, Valtrans – DXB Greet & Go for Innovative Product or Service Offering, and adidas for Innovative Use of Space and Design. Sleepover was awarded for Marketing Campaign and Brand Development, Emirati District for Offering a Sense of Place, and Mawgif took home the Above & Beyond Excellence Award.

Speaking at the ceremony, Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, said, “The oneDXB Airport Excellence Awards is our way of celebrating all those who make DXB’s success possible. Griffiths added that with DXB experiencing a record-breaking first half of the year and anticipating an even busier second half, it was the perfect moment to honour the collective efforts that make Dubai Airports a benchmark in global aviation.

The oneDXB initiative represents Dubai Airports’ collaborative approach to excellence—uniting stakeholders into one ecosystem that drives operational innovation and elevates the passenger experience.

The 2025 awards ceremony, hosted by acclaimed broadcaster Samar Breitem, featured live performances by Desert Moon and DJ Adriana Ray, adding a lively rhythm to an evening that truly embodied the spirit of excellence and unity.
