Do you need a full-size spare wheel? The yes and no explained

If you live in the city and all your driving is commuting along Punt or Parramatta Road, you don’t need to eat into your boot space with a heavy full-size spare wheel, which will only make fitting something like a pram in there slightly harder. The space-saver spare, or puncture repair kit, is sufficient. If you get a flat, a tyre repair shop is likely to be within 50km of wherever you are. Just make sure you head straight there, as space-savers and puncture repair kits are very much temporary solutions.
