A tragic bus accident in Nepal has claimed the lives of 27 Indian tourists and left 16 others injured.
The accident occurred on Friday when the bus, traveling from the scenic city of Pokhara to the capital Kathmandu, veered off the Prithvi Highway and plunged into a swollen river.
The bus, which was carrying 41 passengers and two crew members, crashed around 120 kilometers west of Kathmandu. Shailendra Thapa, spokesperson for Nepal’s Armed Police Force, confirmed that all aboard were Indian nationals.
