Colombo, Feb. 27 (Daily Mirror) – Several players of the Sri Lankan cricket team met Sports Minister Harin Fernando today to discuss issues and challenges faced by the Sri Lankan cricketers.
ODI captain Kusal Mendis, Twenty20 captain Wanindu Hasaranga, senior players like Angelo Mathews, Dimuth Karunaratne, Cricket Consultant Sanath Jayasuriya, and Chief Selector Upul Tharanga participated in the meeting that took place at the Ministry.
Several issues faced by cricketers such as coaching structures, innovative training techniques, mental focus, talent development and strategies to secure victories in upcoming matches were reportedly discussed.
