A couple with 26 years between them have spilt the details of their relationship, revealing they get dirty looks from strangers, but her parents love her other half.
Sydney, 23, filmed herself with her 49-year-old boyfriend in a video on TikTok.
“We’re an age gap couple. Of course, in the beginning, my friends thought you were just a sugar daddy,” Sydney said, The Sunreported.
“We’re an age gap couple. My friends thought I was going through a midlife crisis,” her boyfriend said.
“You’re going have stories from before I was born,” Sydney added.
“We’re an age gap couple. I have my license for two-and-a-half decades before you got yours,” her boyfriend said.
The pair said they even hear from others that they have a daughter around her age.
“We’re an age gap couple,” Sydney said. “Women your age are going to give me dirty looks when we’re on a date.”
However, her parents don’t seem to mind the age difference.
“You and my parents are going to get along like besties,” Sydney said.
“We’re an age gap couple,” her boyfriend said. “Always try to figure out how old I’ll be when you’re 40.”
The video drew in many viewers who shared their thoughts in the comment section.

“He came into my job everyday to get Red Bulls and one day I just bought them for him and got them digits,” Sydney replied.
