Sri Lankan-born venture capitalist and podcaster Chamath Palihapitiya is making a high-profile comeback to the SPAC arena, filing to raise $250 million for his latest blank-check company, American Exceptionalism Acquisition A.

Dubbed the “SPAC King,” Palihapitiya previously raised more than $6.3 billion across 10 SPAC IPOs, successfully acquiring six companies. His return marks a renewed vote of confidence in valuations and market opportunities after a slowdown in the SPAC market.
