BYD Expands After-Sales with Sri Lanka’s Biggest Agent-Run Body Shop

Amid rising demand for New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) in Sri Lanka, BYD, together with its authorized distributor John Keells CG Auto, has inaugurated the country’s largest purpose-built body shop and accident repair centre exclusively for BYD and its premium sub-brand, DENZA.

Situated in Seeduwa on the former Formula World site, the facility marks a major milestone in BYD and DENZA’s efforts to expand their after-sales network. Designed to handle over 100 vehicles at once, the new body shop significantly boosts repair capacity and helps ease congestion at existing service centres throughout the Western Province.

The Seeduwa Body Shop is tailored for high-volume collision repairs and complex bodywork, offering BYD and DENZA owners specialized accident repair services with faster turnaround times. This expansion comes as the number of BYD vehicles in Sri Lanka continues to grow rapidly, creating an increasing demand for efficient and reliable body shop services.

As the largest dedicated BYD body shop in Colombo, the Seeduwa facility strengthens the overall ownership experience and demonstrates the brand’s commitment to customer satisfaction. This opening is part of a wider after-sales expansion that includes BYD’s recently launched largest service centre in Wattala, catering to the full range of BYD and DENZA passenger vehicles.
