Sri Lanka’s healthcare system is reeling from a critical blow as over 1700 doctors and medical specialists have fled the country in the past two years, exacerbating existing challenges and straining hospital operations nationwide.
In a significant setback for Sri Lanka’s healthcare sector, more than 1700 doctors, specialists, and medical professionals have left the island over the last two years.
