A special search operation has been initiated at the Kandy District Secretariat following a bomb threat.
An Ada Derana reporter stated that personnel from the Sri Lanka Police and the Police Special Task Force (STF) have been deployed to search the premises and ensure security.
The operation was launched after an anonymous email alleged that an explosive device had been planted inside the Kandy District Secretariat building.
