Malaysian low-cost carrier Batik Air was earlier reported to resume flights to Colombo, Sri Lanka starting 11th December 2025, with plans to operate four weekly services between Kuala Lumpur and Colombo.
However, recent reports indicate that the airline will not be resuming operations on December 11 as initially stated, and the new commencement date has yet to be confirmed.
