The Australian Rugby League Commission (ARLC) has confirmed a 24-player squad for the 2025 Ashes Tour, marking the first Ashes series in more than 20 years.
The squad features seven players who competed in Sunday’s Grand Final between Melbourne Storm and Brisbane Broncos. Test matches will be held at Wembley Stadium (Oct 25), Everton Stadium (Nov 1), and Headingley (Nov 8).
ARLC Chairman Peter V’landys AM described the tour as “one of the most anticipated Kangaroo Tours in recent memory.” He added, “The return of the Ashes after 22 years is not just a sporting event—it’s a celebration of Rugby League’s rich heritage and enduring rivalry between two countries.”
Kangaroos coach Kevin Walters praised the squad for its mix of youth and experience, stating, “All players have the desire to represent their country at the highest level. England will be a huge challenge on their home soil, but this squad knows what it takes to win.”
