A man from Mysuru alleges being assaulted by a group after composing a song praising PM Modi. The police are investigating the incident as the victim recounts being abused, urinated on, and coerced into chanting ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans.
A man in Karnataka’s Mysuru area claims he was brutally attacked by a group of individuals for composing a song in praise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rohit Kumar, hailing from Mellahalli village in Mandya district, narrated his ordeal to the police, detailing how he shared his composition with an acquaintance, unaware of the consequences that awaited him.
According to Rohit, he innocently shared his YouTube channel link with an acquaintance, who, after expressing initial approval of the song, invited him inside to introduce him to friends. However, the encounter turned violent as Rohit was accosted, verbally abused, and physically assaulted for his artistic expression.
Not only was Rohit subjected to physical violence, but he also endured humiliation as the assailants allegedly urinated on him and coerced him into chanting slogans favoring Pakistan. The incident, which unfolded near a government guest house, prompted police intervention, leading to Rohit receiving medical attention.
While Rohit’s claims await verification, Mysuru police have initiated an investigation, reviewing CCTV footage and delving deeper into the circumstances surrounding the attack. The outcome of the inquiry remains pending as authorities strive to unravel the truth behind this disturbing incident.
