In a heartfelt message to his friends, family, and fans, Angelo Mathews has officially announced his retirement from international Test cricket. The veteran cricketer, who has proudly represented Sri Lanka for 17 years, expressed deep gratitude for the memories, opportunities, and love he has received throughout his illustrious career.
Mathews reflected on the pride and patriotism he felt every time he donned the national jersey, saying, “I have given my everything to cricket, and cricket has given me everything in return and made me the person that I am today.”
