Aldi brings back $50 sleepbag onesie just in time for winter

[ad_1]

As those mornings start to feel a little cooler, this $49 item could be the best thing you’ll buy for winter.

Aldi has announced it will be bringing back its popular onesie sleeping bags as part of an Easter ‘Special Buys’ camping range, and if you’re not in the market for a full suit — the newly launched ‘half suit’ could be more your jam.

The complete sleeping bag – officially the “One-Z wearable sleeping bag” – has arms, legs (with removable feet) and even a hood.

It officially makes its comeback in stores nationally from Saturday, March 16 and will be available in three sizes – small (suitable for someone 155cm-169cm tall), medium (170cm-183cm) and large (184cm-200cm).

The $49.99 item is advertised as fully insulated, with an elastic waistband, dual zipper access, and side ventilation on the legs.

The Onezee has been popular for years — so much so that when the German retailer announced it was making a comeback in 2017, its post generated a whopping 92,000 comments.

“ALDI Australia: Please tell me these gems will be restocked!” one person begged after learning how fast it sold out.

“ALDI Australia they are the best. When will they be available again? Everyone who sees mine and my husbands wants one too,” said another at the time.

Last year, Tik Toker Paris de Jager shared a video of herself wearing the stylish one-piece to her 4,700 followers, bagging 1.4 million views.

She models the getup that resembles a pink Teletubby, advising viewers they need to “run” and not “walk to Aldi.”

Dubbed “Michelin Man chic,” wearable sleeping bags are geared toward campers or people who plan to be outdoors for a long period of time.

On its website, Aldi describes the one-piece as an innovative design that “has been made so you can pop in your arms and legs into their own space so it becomes a wearing sleeping bag!”

But if you’re not after a full-body outfit, the retailer has launched a ‘snuggle hoodie’ which has a reversible design with a quilted outer and inner fleece for extra warmth, can be used both indoors and out and will set you back just $34.99.
