Air Canada Expands Luxury Landline Coach Service, Seamlessly Linking Kingston to Its Global Network

MONTREAL, July 29, 2025 — Air Canada has officially announced the expansion of its Landline luxury motorcoach service, now connecting Kingston Norman Rogers Airport (YGK) with Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). Starting September 23, the new service will offer two daily return trips, enabling Kingston travelers to access Air Canada’s global destinations in one seamless itinerary.

The multi-modal partnership with The Landline Company offers travelers all the conveniences of air travel—through-checked baggage, curb-to-curb service, full disruption protection, and Aeroplan point earning—with the comfort of ground travel. Passengers boarding from Kingston will check in like a regular flight, have their bags tagged, and board a Canadian-built luxury coach equipped with leather seats, tray tables, Wi-Fi, power outlets, and an accessible lift.

“We are reconnecting Kingston to the world,” said Ranbir Singh, Director of Regional Airlines at Air Canada. “This service brings premium comfort and global convenience to Eastern Ontario.”

“It’s like a regional flight — just on wheels,” added Nick Johnson, VP at Landline.

This marks the third region in Ontario served by Air Canada-Landline routes, after Hamilton and Waterloo. Many introductory coach segments will be available with no additional fee, and customers can add motorcoach legs to existing bookings with a fee waiver until December 31, 2025.

The service enhances Kingston’s connectivity to major Canadian cities like Vancouver, Calgary, Halifax, and Edmonton, and over 180 international destinations through Air Canada.

“This is more than a route — it’s a lifeline,” said Craig Desjardins, Director of Strategy at the City of Kingston. “It supports tourism, business, innovation, and mobility in a competitive economy.”
