From dawn services to sunset ceremonies, marches to moments of quiet contemplation, communities across Australia will unite in honor of our servicemen and women. Here’s your comprehensive guide to the Anzac Day events taking place around the country.

Sydney Sydney’s main dawn service will unfold at the Cenotaph in Martin Place, commencing at 4:20 am. Following this poignant moment, the CBD will come alive with the Anzac Day march, starting at 9 am from Elizabeth Street and concluding at Liverpool Street around 12:30 pm. A commemoration service will follow at the Anzac Memorial in Hyde Park South at 12:30 pm, with the day drawing to a close with a sunset service at the Martin Place Cenotaph at 5 pm.

Melbourne In Melbourne, the Shrine of Remembrance will host the largest dawn service, beginning at 5:30 am. Following this, the Anzac Day commemoration march will commence at 8:30 am, offering spectators a moving sight along Swanston Street to the Shrine of Remembrance.

Brisbane Brisbane’s traditional dawn service will take place at the Shrine of Remembrance in Anzac Square, with proceedings starting at 4:28 am. Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 3:30 am to pay their respects. The march will follow from 9:45 am to 12:30 pm along Adelaide Street.

Darwin At the Darwin Cenotaph in Bicentennial Park, a dawn service will commence at 6 am, with attendees requested to gather by 5:30 am. The Anzac Day march will then proceed from the Esplanade at 9 am along Knuckey Street.

Perth In Perth, the State War Memorial in Kings Park will host the main dawn service at 5:30 am, followed by a gunfire breakfast at Government House Gardens from 7 am to 9 am. The march will then take place from 9 am to 11 am along St Georges Terrace, with additional events scheduled throughout the day at Langley Park and Kings Park.

Hobart Hobart’s dawn service will commence at 6 am at the Hobart Cenotaph in Queens Domain, followed by the main march along Elizabeth Street at 11 am and a service at the Cenotaph at 11:45 am.

Adelaide In Adelaide, the main Anzac Day dawn service will be held at 6 am at the South Australian National War Memorial on North Terrace. The march will then proceed from the corner of North Terrace and Gawler Place at 9:30 am.

Canberra At the Australian War Memorial, the dawn service will begin at 5:30 am, followed by various commemorative ceremonies throughout the morning, including the RSL Act Veterans’ March at 9:30 am.
