Priyanka Chopra’s The Bluff becomes world’s most-streamed original film

Priyanka Chopra’s pirate-themed action film The Bluff has surged to the top of global streaming charts, emerging as the most-watched original film across OTT platforms.

According to Variety, the film led the Streaming Originals: Film chart for the week of February 27 to March 5, amassing approximately 300.3 million minutes of viewing time. Released on Prime Video on February 25, The Bluff outperformed all other streaming originals released during that period by a wide margin.

Set in the Cayman Islands, the story follows Ercell Borden, a fishwife living quietly with her son and sister-in-law. When her husband is captured by a ruthless pirate named Connor (Karl Urban), Ercell must confront a dangerous past she hoped to leave behind. To protect her family, she becomes Bloody Mary, a legendary pirate, engaging in thrilling sword fights, gun battles, and intense showdowns with Connor.

Directed by Frank E. Flowers and produced by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, and Angela Russo-Otstot under their AGBO banner, the film also features Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green, Temuera Morrison, and Zack Morris.

Fans of Chopra celebrated the achievement on social media, praising her performance and dedication. Comments included: “She deserved it. She worked so hard for this,” “The Bluff was shockingly good,” and “So happy for my queen!”
