The National Cricket Selection Committee has named a 16-member Sri Lanka T20I squad for the upcoming three-match series against England. The squad includes several changes from the recent Pakistan series, with Kamindu Mendis, Dushan Hemantha, Traveen Mathew, and Nuwan Thushara missing out.
A standout inclusion is 23-year-old Pavan Rathnayake, who earned his place after scoring his maiden ODI century against England in the third ODI of the recent series. Fast bowler Pramod Madushan has also been recalled, strengthening Sri Lanka’s pace options.
All three T20I matches will be held at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on January 30, February 1, and February 3.
