The official release date for Siddharth Anand’s highly awaited film King, starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, has now been confirmed. The big-budget entertainer is set to arrive in cinemas on December 24, 2026, positioning it as one of the biggest festive releases of the year.
Adding to the excitement, Shah Rukh Khan appears in a blazing new avatar, delivering a striking line that reflects his fierce on-screen presence: “Darr nahi, deshshat hoon” — a statement that underlines the intensity of his character.
The journey of King began last year on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday, when director Siddharth Anand unveiled the film’s title through a special reveal video. The announcement offered fans a first look at the superstar’s character and marked Anand’s second collaboration with SRK following the blockbuster Pathaan.
