An International Conference on Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Traditional Medicine will be held in Colombo on February 7, 2026, bringing together scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to explore the scientific and cultural foundations of traditional medical systems.
Organised in collaboration with හෙල ඔසු පොත – Ceylon Herbs Book, the conference will focus on traditional medicine, herbal products, indigenous medical knowledge, and evidence-based research related to ancient healing systems practiced across South Asia and beyond.
The event aims to create a multidisciplinary platform for the exchange of research findings, innovations, and best practices in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and other traditional medical sciences, while also highlighting their relevance in modern healthcare and sustainable development.
Researchers and academics are invited to submit papers and abstracts, with key submission deadlines scheduled for early 2026. Selected research will be presented during the conference, encouraging dialogue between traditional knowledge systems and contemporary scientific approaches.
The conference is expected to strengthen international collaboration, promote scholarly research, and enhance global recognition of traditional medicine systems.
