Galaxy Macau is set to usher in the Chinese New Year with a month-long celebration featuring festive delicacies, luxury shopping rewards, cultural performances and exclusive entertainment, inviting guests to welcome prosperity and good fortune in style.
Galaxy Macau has unveiled an extensive lineup of Chinese New Year celebrations under the theme “Start the Year Lucky at Galaxy Macau!”, blending world-class dining, luxury retail experiences and vibrant cultural performances to mark the auspicious season.
The festive programme will run from February 4, marking the beginning of spring in the Chinese lunisolar calendar, through March 3, culminating in the Lantern Festival. This year’s celebrations are themed around the windmill, a playful symbol of luck and prosperity, with colourful windmill installations adorning the resort to signify fortune in motion.
Guests can look forward to special Chinese New Year editions of Galaxy Macau’s iconic Diamond Show, along with God of Fortune appearances and traditional lion dance performances to usher in blessings for the year ahead. Family-friendly workshops will also be hosted at the Galaxy Kidz Edutainment Center, while dining guests and Galaxy Ultimate members can enjoy lucky surprises and exclusive festive souvenirs.
A Feast of Fortune
Galaxy Macau’s culinary offerings take centre stage this season, with festive delicacies including Black Cane Sugar New Year Pudding and Chinese Turnip Cake, crafted to honour tradition. Special hampers and gift sets featuring Galaxy Macau’s signature “Blossoming Wealth” tea blend will also be available.
Renowned restaurants across the resort will serve auspicious menus spanning Northern Chinese, Cantonese, Huaiyang, Japanese and international cuisines. Highlights include symbolic dumplings at Bei Shan Lou, luxurious seafood dishes at Blossom Palaces, festive Poon Choi with a Sichuan-inspired twist, and special Chinese New Year buffets at Andaz Kitchen.
Select dining venues will also partner with renowned Chinese fine winemaker Luzhou Laojiao, offering complimentary wine pairings with signature dishes. A Luzhou Guojiao pop-up store at Promenade East will showcase limited-edition festive wines from January 15.
Shopping, Shows and Art
During the festive period, shoppers at Galaxy Promenade can enjoy exclusive shopping privileges. Entertainment highlights include “Galaxy Macau Presents: The Jimmy O. Yang’s Chinese New Year Show”, featuring Jimmy O. Yang with special guests Jackson Wang and Wan Kwong at Galaxy Arena.
