Sri Lanka Tourism welcomed Australia’s award-winning content creator Luana Ostling to the island as part of a strategic campaign aimed at reactivating international travel and positioning Sri Lanka as a safe, welcoming, and breathtaking destination for global travelers.

Recognized as Australia’s Best Content Creator in 2025 and Sydney’s top influencer by the NSW Parliament, Luana Ostling is an award-winning journalist and content creator specializing in luxury travel, fashion, wellness, and lifestyle. She has captivated a global audience of over one million followers, generating more than four million monthly views through authentic, immersive, and meaningful storytelling.

During her 10-day journey across Sri Lanka, Luana explored some of the island’s most iconic and enchanting destinations, including Negombo, Nuwara Eliya, Yala, Mirissa, Weligama, Galle, and Colombo. The curated itinerary highlighted Sri Lanka’s remarkable diversity—ranging from misty hill country and pristine beaches to rich cultural heritage and world-renowned wildlife experiences.

Throughout the tour, Sri Lanka was showcased as:

The tour was organized by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) and made possible with the generous support of leading hospitality partners, including Jetwing Hotels, KK Collection, Marriott Hotels, and Cinnamon Life – City of Dreams. The initiative aimed not only to spotlight Sri Lanka’s natural beauty and luxury offerings but also to rebuild confidence among international travelers by demonstrating that the island was safe, stable, and ready to welcome visitors in 2026.

Luana’s storytelling brought Sri Lanka’s magic to a global audience, capturing everything from serene tea plantations and mist-covered mountain landscapes to sun-drenched beaches and vibrant local culture. Her journey emphasized the island’s diversity, seamlessly blending adventure, romance, wellness, and cultural immersion—ensuring that every traveler could find something uniquely memorable.

Through Luana Ostling’s visit, Sri Lanka Tourism successfully showcased the country as a destination that inspires, delights, and rejuvenates.
