The Golden Globe Awards 2026 officially launched Hollywood’s awards season with the announcement of this year’s nominations, celebrating the most acclaimed films, television series, and performances of the past year.

Acting categories feature some of the industry’s biggest stars, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Julia Roberts, Timothée Chalamet, Emma Stone, and Dwayne Johnson, reflecting a highly competitive year for performances.
Television nominees highlight popular and critically acclaimed series such as The White Lotus, Severance, The Bear, Slow Horses, and Only Murders in the Building. Performers like Helen Mirren, Gary Oldman, Jenna Ortega, Selena Gomez, and Jeremy Allen White received recognition for their work on the small screen.
This year also introduces a new category for podcasts, acknowledging the growing influence of audio storytelling, with nominees including SmartLess, Call Her Daddy, and The Mel Robbins Podcast.
