People are up in arms over the postponement of the Ne-Yo live in Sri Lanka concert organised by the Brown Boy, alleging that the organisers had already collected the ticket monies and now there was no talk of refunding the cash back.
However, in a post on social media, organizers claim they will refund the ticket monies via the Pick Me app through which tickets were purchased.
A date on the refund has yet not been given. Tickets were priced Rs.15,000 and above.
The Ne-Yo live in Sri Lanka concert was scheduled to be held on 28 December at the Sugathadasa Outdoor Stadium in Colombo.
However, the organisers in their social media posted that the concert was postponed.
The organisers went out with huge social media campaigns encouraging people to purchase tickets for the concert even offering discounts for bank cards.
A post shared in their Facebook said the concert was postponed without any fresh dates.
People who purchased tickets allege that the organisers defrauded their ticket money and fled the country.
