Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Bahrain has reaffirmed the country’s commitment to deepening diplomatic, trade, and investment relations during a high-level meeting with the Bahraini Crown Prince.
During the meeting, Ambassador Dissanayake conveyed the greetings and best wishes of Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya to the Crown Prince. She also extended warm congratulations on the occasion of Bahrain’s 54th National Day, which will be celebrated on December 16.
The Ambassador briefed the Crown Prince on the strong and multifaceted bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Bahrain, highlighting potential areas for enhanced cooperation, particularly in trade, investment, and economic collaboration.
In response, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa emphasized the longstanding and friendly ties shared between the two nations. He praised the valuable contributions of the Sri Lankan community living and working in Bahrain and reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to further strengthening cooperation with Sri Lanka across various sectors.
