China’s domestically built COMAC C919 twinjet is set to make its first Middle East appearance at the Dubai Airshow 2025, taking place from November 17-20 at Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC).
The demonstrator aircraft has already arrived in Dubai after a refuelling stop in Dhaka, marking a significant step as COMAC aims to expand global visibility for its C919, which has so far seen moderate success within China.
With supply chain challenges affecting major Western manufacturers, COMAC is positioning the C919 as a competitive alternative in the single-aisle market.
The 2025 Dubai Airshow will feature over 1,500 exhibitors and is expected to welcome more than 148,000 visitors, offering COMAC a prime stage to showcase its flagship aircraft.
