At just 18 years old, Yevan etched his name into the record books by clinching the Rookie Championship title and securing second place overall in the 2025 Euroformula Open Championship — a prestigious European racing series known for grooming future Formula 1 stars.
His remarkable performance not only showcased his immense talent and determination but also marked a milestone moment for Sri Lankan motorsport, as Yevan became the first-ever Sri Lankan driver to achieve these extraordinary feats on the European racing stage.
