Popular Tamil YouTuber Madan Gowri has praised the efficiency of Dubai Police and Emirates Airlines after his lost phone was safely returned to him in Chennai.
Gowri revealed that he misplaced his phone a week earlier at Dubai International Airport. When he sought help, airport staff asked him to email the details of the missing device. After returning to Chennai, he received an email confirming that the phone had been found.
In an impressive display of efficiency, Dubai Police arranged for the phone to be sent back free of cost on the next available flight to Chennai.
Sharing a video on Instagram on September 2, 2025, Gowri thanked the Dubai authorities for their support. The video quickly went viral, gaining 2.6 million views and over 200,000 likes.
Social media users applauded the gesture, calling Dubai the “safest country in the world.” One user commented: “No worries in Dubai — if you lose it, Dubai Police will bring it back.”
